Yesterday afternoon I got the Buffy theme tune unexpectedly playing on the radio (ASH was there to say a few brief words about Merlin, which starts tonight) and now they're playing a song from Dr Horrible. I'm being stealth Jossed by Radio 2.

I like this meme - I've been in a Buffy mood lately and have even been reading some fanfic for the first time in absolutely ages (getting back in the swing of things for the upcoming round of seasonal_spuffy perhaps). It's good to see random quotes popping up all over the flist.

I believe Barak Obama is due in the UK in a couple of weeks. If he ( cut for stupid storyline details ) I might have a rethink about this show. Until then it's going in the 'complete and utter tosh' pile. Good to see that they're not straying from their tried and tested 'undiscovered archaeological treasures in a big hole in the ground' plot line next week, if the trailer's anything to go by.

Still, I enjoyed 'Return to Vets In Practice' last week. Sky+ (wheeee, we've got Sky+) refused to tape Dirk George Gently and Top Gear simultaneously on Sunday, so I've got that to look forward to tomorrow as well. Plus repeats of Armstrong and Miller on BBC3.

Too important to lump in with the previous mish mash of musings, today is the birthday of the wonderful lmbossy. Hope you're having a wonderful day Claire, spoiled rotten by the boyf and baby both. It was lovely to see you and baby S in London recently, and at last I've done something with the photos I took. I've uploaded them to my LJ Scrapbook in a LMBossy gallery and you should hopefully be able to snaggle them from there. They are in a gallery that only you should have access to, but let me know when you've got them and I'll take them down.
